John Arnold Langer Senior Interview
By: Tom Alatalo
John Arnold Langer was born on February 22, 1995 and is the son of Alan and Tami Langer. John has enjoyed his time at Central City High School very much, because the teachers are kind and help  him with any questions he might have. He also had many great friends helping him along the way.
Some of John's most memorable moments come from the drama department at Central City. He loved to act and sing in every play and musical put on at Central City.
"Those were some good times that I will never forget", says John
One of John's most embarrassing moments was during marching band season. It was at the second to last home game at Central City during half time. He was performing with the band and he dropped his drum stick, because it was cold and his hand was numb.
He didn't want to let the band down so he played his snare drum with his right hand. By doing so, he sprained his index finger, a metacarpal, and his thumb. The audience didn't notice a difference between the drum stick and his hand.
His most difficult decision was dropping and online coarse. He took only one before that and two afterwards. He tells me that he does not enjoy online classes at all.
John's future plan is to go to the University of Northern Iowa to get his Bachelor's Degree. He plans to major in Biology and get his Pre-Med complete. He is hoping to get into a medical school after UNI and become a doctor of osteopathy
John would like to give advice to underclassmen at Central City.
"Do not procrastinate, it will bite you in the butt. You may always think you have time, until it's too late. All procrastination does is create stress. Just avoid it."
